Constanța State Theater is again in the FNT selection - National Theater Festival!

Constanta State Theatre's performance "8 FATHERS" by Tina Müller, directed by Irisz Kovacs, scenography by Theodor Niculae, was selected, this year, at the FNT - Festivalul Național de Teatru / The National Theater Festival, in the category FLUID HISTORIES: Micro-histories. Broken families. The theme of the National Theater Festival 2022 is "Fragile borders. Fluid histories".

Fragile Histories groups together performances that revisit the relationship with the past and interrogate the present, reread collective and family histories from subjective perspectives, question controversial episodes in official history. We considered relevant the inclusion in the structure of the National Theater Festival of performative installations and online and VR creations, as a direct response to significant transformations of artistic languages ​​during the pandemic period, in which online theater became a formula accepted by a delocalized audience or attracted by everything what is related to digitization.
