SEAS 2024: Ierbar

The performance Ierbar, a production by the Târgu-Mureș National Theatre, will take place on September 8, 2024, at 8:00 PM, at Casa de cultură a sindicatelor, as part of SEAS 2024.

A poetic meditation on life, inspired by poetry itself as well as nature, the performance **Ierbar** presents a unique perspective—filtered through the unmistakable artistic sensitivity of Radu Afrim—on the passage of time in a setting where young couples, middle-aged couples, and elderly couples coexist. These couples are in different existential phases, but the fragility, the desire for love and communion, as well as the awareness that everything is fleeting, mark every gesture and action. In the endless stirrings of nature, we can distinguish, on a micro scale, the infinite nature of the macro universe, which greets us with sunrises, sunsets, and stars—a universe that is both familiar and mysteriously fascinating, with which we are, in essence, inseparable.
