SEAS 2024: The Jazz Lesson

The performance Lecția de jazz, a production by the Irina Sârbu Jazz Band, will take place on July 20, 2024, at 9:00 PM, at Grădina Tomis, as part of SEAS 2024.

Jazz is a spectacular, free, lively, and colorful music genre in which everyone finds joy and pleasure, especially if they learn to listen, feel, and understand its rhythms, harmonies, and the entire sonic complexity! Lecția de jazz offers keys to access this music, not only theoretically but, more importantly, practically and interactively, inviting the audience to play along with the artists on stage. The well-known and beloved jazz singer Irina Sârbu, along with her guests, creates an ongoing dialogue with the audience, where every "didactic" piece of information is immediately put into practice.
