The performance tells the story of a writer, Ruth, who struggles with time - both with the clock’s hands and with her own stories, left untold. Lisa appears in her life, a young woman who is looking everywhere for both inspiration and a teacher. Ruth – Maia Morgenstern – is the one who tells the unwritten stories, and Lisa - Cătălina Mihai - is the one who listens and collects. A story about stories that are not always what we would like them to be. About stories that don't just end with happy endings. About how in each disciple there is a part of his master.

Being on the list of finalists at the 1997 Pulitzer Prize for Theater, Donald Marguiles' "Collected Stories" was produced and performed in New York, Los Angeles and London. The show premiered on Broadway at the Manhattan Theater Club in 2010.
