To wake up half-dressed, without knowing how you got home, with a memory gap about the evening spent in the city and to discover another man in your bed, just as half-naked as you!
To find out from the newspaper that the objects each of you have lost - umbrella and handkerchief - were discovered in the context of a horrible crime. And to start a struggle to erase the traces of a deed that neither of you remembers, but all indications lead to the conclusion that it is possible that you both committed it.
To run away, to silence the witnesses, to wash your hands of everything you might have done. To get rid of this calamity that came upon you, as if it was a bad dream. Is it possible?
Genuine entertainment of the highest quality; a delightful story in which the situational humour is combined with an excellent dynamic of the characters; a colourful Belle Epoque set, full of surprising elements; a band that, responding to the direction of the main characters, accompanies the actors live; suspense and tension, but especially fun, which we all need in these times of illness and constant fear.

Reviews
The lesson in authenticity was delivered by a French comedy written by Eugène Labiche, set in 1857. A lively comedy full of unexpected events that stirs up, thoroughly toasting, two former high school classmates who reunite after many years at a banquet of former graduates from Labadens. Directed by Vlad Cristache, the director of the Constanța State Theatre, the comedy gains in scale through the original music composed by the award-winning Tibor Cári from Timișoara, and performed live by Elena Gatcin on piano, Marian Gănescu on clarinet, and Marius Cristian Zaval on percussion, under the "conductor's" guidance of the main characters. The reunion of the two former classmates is one full of mishaps, as they, dazed by various alcoholic beverages, are struck by amnesia and find themselves as the main suspects in a brutal crime. The incriminating evidence is mentioned in the newspaper article titled "The Lourcine Street Affair. And from there begins a true tour de force, a whole burst of energy spent trying to hide the incriminating evidence and, especially, to get rid of the witnesses, moments where the comedy takes on thriller-like tones. The two former classmates (Oscar Lenglumé and Leopold Mistingue) are the main characters in "The Crime in Lourcine Street", yet they act as though they are a single character. They complement each other in gesture and word (spoken and sung). Marian Adochiței and Andrei Cantaragiu form a comic duo full of energy. The entire action of the musical comedy takes place in a colorful and sparkling set (a multitude of multicolored pillows thrown haphazardly on the bed and floor, chandeliers overturned and used as... coat hangers, suspended birdcages). This, like the elegant costumes of the characters, which recall the tranquility of another age, was designed by scenographers Mădălina Niculae and Andreea Tecla, with whom Vlad Cristache previously collaborated on his first production for the Constanța State Theatre, "Let Me In!" by Jack Thorne.
