He graduated from the Theater Institute in Târgu Mureș, class of professor Constantin Codrescu, class of 1982. Between 1991 and 2000 he was a professor, university lecturer at the "Babeș Bolyai" University of Cluj, Faculty of Letters, Department of Theater. He debuted in 1982, the last year of his studies, on the stage of the National Theater in Cluj Napoca, with the role of Cristopher Flanders in "The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore" by Tennessee Williams. He has been playing on the stage of the "I.L. Caragiale" National Theater in Bucharest since 2004. He made memorable creations in the roles of Constantin from "The Illuminated Week" - directed by Mihai Măniuțiu at the Cluj National Theater, Dionyssos from "The Bacchae" - directed by Mihai Măniuțiu at the Bucharest National Theater ( 1997 ), Bolinbroke from "Richard II" - directed by Mihai Măniuțiu at the Bucharest National Theater, Oberon from "A Midsummer Night's Dream"- directed by Victor Ioan Frunză at the Cluj National Theater, King of "The King Dies" - directed by Victor Ioan Frunză at Theater Mundi ( 2002 ), Antonio Salieri from "Amadeus" - directed by Marcel Top at the Bucharest National Opera ( 2010 ). Medaled in 2004 with Class I Cultural Merit, Category D - „ Performing Art ”, „ as a sign of appreciation of the entire activity and for the dedication and interpretive talent put at the service of stage art and the show ”.
