Personal data
Dragoș Muscalu is an actor, improviser, trainer, and MC; for a while, he was also a radio presenter at Radio Romania Cultural. As an actor, he has collaborated with theaters across the country and in the capital, and as an improviser, he is currently a member (founder) of the oldest improvisation troupe in Cluj and of the first improvisation troupe in Romania dedicated 100% to children. Dragoș also has extensive experience as an MC in the corporate field (over 100 events), presenting everything from charity galas to auctions and music festivals. For over fourteen years, he has been conducting workshops in companies and art universities across the country, teaching people how to overcome personal and professional blockages by adapting theatrical and game techniques to specific and business situations. He graduated in 2007 from the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest and holds a PhD in Theatre. He expresses his passion for Improvisation, especially through working with young people. Paraphrasing his professor, the master Ion Cojar, Dragoș believes that Improvisational Theatre offers a unique opportunity for an actor to play 50 characters in one show, and for the "ordinary person," it offers a chance to surprise themselves, revealing new facets of their personality. In addition to theater and film, he is passionate about music, photography, literature, cats, chocolate, and (not least) Batman.
