CRISTINA OPREAN was born in Craiova, where she studied piano and singing at the Art High School and graduated from the Institute of Theater and Cinematography „ I.L.Caragiale ” Bucharest, in the class of teachers Petrică Vasilescu and Mihai Mălaimare. She began her career at the Puppet Theater in Craiova, where she worked for a year as a pupeteer, winning the first prize at the National Puppet Theater Competition, and since 1986 she abandoned the puppetry and came to the theater in Constanța, where she made a name for herself, loved by spectators and appreciated by superlative directors. In addition to the many roles, extremely varied, played with impeccable talent and professionalism, Cristina Oprean Ciorei made a special type of performances with her husband, the consisting conductor Radu Ciorei: As a narrator in symphonic concerts, he gave 12 world premieres in Romania, but also in the United States, Argentina, Portugal or South Korea, on texts by Marin Sorescu, Lucian Blaga, Fernando Pessoa and Luís de Camões. She is a model of creativity, professionalism, altruism for her colleagues, with which she can be applauded in " The Magpies", ”A Midsummer Night's Dream ”, ”Titanic Waltz ”, ”Euthopia ”, ”Dionysius ”, ”Figaro's wedding ”.
