Performing Arts Summer Season - SEAS 2025

Performing Arts Summer Season - SEAS 2025

The fourth edition of the Summer Season of Performing Arts - SEAS 2025, an event organized by the Constanța State Theatre with funding from the Constanța County Council, takes place between July 10 and September 18, 2025.

SEAS is currently the largest summer season dedicated to the performing arts in Europe - a major cultural project that transforms Constanța into a true stage for live art, connecting audiences with top-tier productions of theatre, music, dance, and performance.

For this edition, SEAS has prepared a carefully curated selection of high-quality shows for both locals and tourists visiting the seaside. These productions, created by companies from Romania and abroad, will be staged in over 80 performances across ten emblematic venues in the city. In addition, street performances will take place during the SEAStreet section, scheduled for the weekend of July 25-27. More than 95,000 spectators are expected, locals, tourists, and culture lovers from across the country and abroad.

Over 1,500 artists and special guests will be present at SEAS 2025, including the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, the National Theatre of Bucharest, the Bucharest National Opera, Declan Donnellan, Radu Afrim, Silviu Purcărete, Florin Piersic Jr., Ofelia Popii, and many others.

As every year, the fourth edition brings new features, among which the standout is the partnership with the George Enescu International Festival, one of the world’s most prestigious classical music events, held since 1958. The 27th edition will take place between August 24 and September 21, 2025, and marks 70 years since the death of the great Romanian composer and musician, George Enescu.

All information about the SEAS 2025 program can be found on the season’s official website - SEAS 2025.
