ConstanΘa State Theater is again in the FNT selection - National Theater Festival!
The play "8 FATHERS" by Tina Müller, directed by Irisz Kovacs, with scenography by Theodor Niculae, was selected this year for the National Theatre Festival (FNT) under the category π ππππ πππππππππ: ππ’ππ«π¨-π‘π’π¬ππ¨π«π’ππ¬. ππ’π―π’πππ π ππ¦π’π₯π’ππ¬. The theme of the 2022 National Theatre Festival is "Fragile Borders. Fluid Histories."
Fluid histories group performances that revisit the relationship with the past and question the present, re-reading collective and family histories from subjective perspectives, and addressing controversial episodes from official history.
"8 FATHERS" is a play that has been selected for participation in several festivals: the 2022 "Gulliver" International Animation Festival in GalaΘi, the 2022 Young Directors Festival – Theatre Networking Talents in Craiova, and the IDEO IDEIS National Festival of Young Theatre. For her direction of this play, Irisz Kovacs received a nomination for Debut at the 2022 UNITER Awards Gala.
