LILIANA GHIŢĂ became famous among theater lovers from all over the country after the inspired collaborations with the director Radu Afrim. Shee worked in the ”Maria Filotti Brăila Theater where, between 2005 and 2007, she also held the position of artistic director and the ”Aureliu Manea ” Turda Theater. She was awarded at theater festivals in the country and nominated for UNITER Awards. She has a record of over 70 roles in theater and film and has worked in several theaters in the country as a collaborating actor. Among them, we mention the collaborations at the Theater ”Jean Bart ” Tulcea where she was distributed in the shows ”My Dad's Home” by Mimi Brănescu, directed by Dan Chiriac and ”Leenane's Beauty Queen” by Martin McDonagh, directed by Vlad Cristache, show for which she was nominated for the award for Best Actress at the Oradea FITO International Theater Festival 2018. At the Piatra Neamț Youth Theater we mention the role of Sister Aloysius Beauvier in ”Doubt ” after a text by John Patrick Shanley, translated and directed by Eugen Gyemant. In the show ”ALI: Fear Eats the Soul ”, directed by Radu Jude ( occasion with which the prestigious film director makes his debut on the theater stage in the capital ) which opened the first season of the Apollo111 theater, Liliana Ghiță played the lead role, Emmi. We also remember her artistic performances from ”House ” by Evgheni Griskovet and Anna Matison, directed by Sânziana Stoican and ”Soon the time will come ” by Line Knutzon, directed by Radu Afrim, where he played Rebekka. Liliana Ghita starred in short and feature films: ”Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn” (2021), ”I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians” (2018)( Grand Prix winner - Best Film at the International Film Festival Karlovy Vary 2018 ), short film „ A Good Deed ” ( 2015 ). From her filmography we also mention the roles: Manuela's mother from ”Of Snails and Men” (2012), Tanti Leana from ”Scarred hearts” (2016) and Anuta from ”Weddings, Christenings and Funerals” (2022). The local audience can cheer her in ”Tartuffe or the Imposter”, directed by Horia Suru and currently, she delights us with her artistic performance in the show of the year, awarded at the UNITER gala, ”Seaside Stories ”, directed by Radu Afrim, in the role of Haughty Lili.
