ALINA MANȚU graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Arts, specializing in Theatre Performing Arts, in Lică Gherghilescu's class and graduated from UNATC I.L.Caragiale Bucharest. She made her debut at the Constanta State Theatre in the performance "Three Sisters" by A.P. Chekhov, directed by Dominic Dembinski and can be seen on our stage in "Two Gentlemen from Verona" by William Shakespeare, directed by Alexandru Mâzgăreanu, "Memory of Water" by Shelagh Stephenson, directed by Vladimir Anton, "Jurnal de România", collective text directed by Carmen Lidia Vidu, "The Killing of Gonzago" by Nedialko Iordanov, directed by Ion Sapdaru, "Some Dafts" after Marin Sorescu, directed by Iulian Enache, "Euthopia" after Aristophanes' texts, directed by Yannis Margaritis. He also played roles in the shows "Inima Regina Maria" by Radu Aldulescu, directed by Alina Hiristea, "Paliativ" by Radu Popescu, directed by Cristian Gheorghe, "Ovidius in Love", after Marin Mincu, directed by Alexander Hausvater, "The Old Woman and the Thief" by Viorel Savin, directed by Iulian Enache, "Metamorphoses of Love" after ancient authors, script by Anaid Tavitian and Liviu Manolache, directed by Liviu Manolache, "The Raid through Stories" after Ion Creanga, directed by Nicolae Poghirc. Since 2011 she has been a collaborating actor at the Theatre for Children and Youth "Căluțul de mare", Constanța, performing in the shows "Snow White", "Beauty and the Beast", "Cinderella" and "The Beast". Currently, on the stage of the State Theatre, she can be applauded for her performances in "The Full Monty", directed by Vlad Cristache "Seaside Stories", directed by Radu Afrim, "Belgrade trilogy", directed by Erwin Șimșensohn and in "Twelfth night”, directed by Andrei Șerban.
