ANDREI CANTARAGIU graduated from the theatre faculty of "Ovidius" University, and is licensed in theatre at UNATC Bucharest and was employed at the State Theatre of Constanta, where the audience could see him playing many characters. His favourite role was a composition role of an old man called Ovidiu, a role he played in Iasi, in the play "The Blue Tower" by the Basarabian playwright Val Butnaru. Andrei Cantaragiu was the one also directed this performance. He is an energetic actor who is part of the cast of many shows in the theatre's current repertoire, among which we mention: "The Full Monty", "The crime from Lourcine street", "The comedy match", a new show that tests the improvisation skills of actors, "Two Gentlemen of Verona", "The Cripple of Inishmaan", "Testosterone", "Several Dafts", "The Most Beautiful Wife", "The Glass Menagerie", "The Murder of Gonzago", "Eutopia", "At Easter", "The Imaginary Invalid", "The Gaggles of Chioggia", "The King Rat", "Titanic Waltz", "Palliative". All these roles are important to him because "it's up to us, the actors, to know and want to give them the importance they deserve".
